Swing Like a Weight on a String

Perfect Your Stroke

What Is the String Theory Putter?

And Why is it DIFFERENT From All other Flexible Training Putters?

This patented training aid mimics the motion of swinging a weight on a string. Any deviation in your stroke—path, tempo, alignment—is instantaneously amplified, giving you real-time, actionable feedback on your putting mechanics.

Benefits to the String Theory Putter

The String Theory Putter uses patented centrifugal feedback to help you engrain a pure, rhythm-based stroke—the swing that world-class putters use.
Rhythm Builds Consistency

Rhythm Builds Consistency

Forces a pendulum-style stroke that helps stabilize timing and tempo—crucial for repeatable putting.
Immediate Stroke Feedback

Immediate Stroke Feedback

Errors in arc, path, or face angle are exposed immediately—so you can adjust on the spot.
Compatible with All Putters

Compatible with All Putters

Works with any putter head or stroke style, making it versatile for any player.
Portable & No Setup Needed

Portable & No Setup Needed

No courses, mats, or programming—practice anywhere, anytime without fuss.

Backed by Physics, Built for Putting

The ideal putting stroke mimics the resonant frequency of a pendulum—steady, rhythmic, and accurate. Misalignment or improper tempo introduces error. The String Theory Putter trains you to swing in pure centrifugal motion—eliminating leverage and promoting natural motion.

Better Putting for Every Player

String Theory Putters are ideal for:

  • High Handicaps: Builds solid tempo and face path awareness.
  • Low Handicaps: Helps refine micro-improvements in stroke mechanics.
  • Coaches & Club Fitters: Instant feedback tool during coaching or fitting sessions.

The String Theory Putter will NOT alter your own Natural Tempo

After practicing for a few strokes with the String Theory Putter, Brady was instructed to just hit some putts with his own putter, NOT trying to replicate or duplicate the action he had just practiced, and NOT trying to think of anything at all.  Notice how Brady's stroke with his normal putter reverts to a natural, shorter stroke with a quicker tempo, though his rhythm remains silky smooth, and the ball rolls true.  He HAS NOT changed his tempo after using the String Theory, but he HAS, indeed, acquired rhythm.

FAQs

How to best maximize your short game
  • Stand naturally with the handle held at a similar angle to that of your normal putter. This will mean that you will be standing closer to the ball when using the String Theory Putter, but just return to your normal stance when using your regular putter.
  • Don’t hold the shaft straight down in an unnatural fashion. Allow the shaft to bend at the address to create a comfortable starting position.
  • Start with short putts. The String Theory Putter’s primary intended use is for putts within 10 feet.
  • With practice, this feel will translate into all putts and gradually into the rest of your game.
  • Convenience: The String Theory Putter is fun and easy to use, unlike many complex, cumbersome training aids out on the market. You can easily take The String Theory Putter with you in your golf bag, anywhere you go. You can use it out on the practice green, at home, or in your office.
  • This product is intended for putting practice, ONLY. It is NOT intended to be used for exceptionally long putts, longer shots, or full swings. We are not responsible for any injury caused by improper use of the String Theory Putter.
  • The String Theory Putter requires the user to make a perfect swinging motion with the putter head. Any errant motion will be immediately detected. For some, it may be difficult to use at first, but like riding a bike, once you’ve got it, you can easily repeat it. Don’t give up!
  • The String Theory Putter is designed for the sole purpose of giving the user the key to the golf swing, and that is a rhythmic swinging motion exclusively using centrifugal force. However, it might not necessarily cure all other putting issues, such as alignment and green reading. Though with consistent practice, your speed control WILL dramatically improve.
